Stay Acne Free

As a teenager, one of the major concern is acne, not only does it make you want to hide but it can also leave scars for the rest of your life, so here I would like to offer some tips to help battle against acne and hopefully help you stay acne free.

* Clean, Clean, Clean- This just cannot be stress enough, just simply wash your face with mild face cleansing soap will help reduce harmful bacteria, excess oil and dead skin cells from your face. Learn to choose the soap that is right for you, use soap that gently cleanse because some people's skins are more sensitive than others. Using a soap that is too strong or drying or chemical filled can make your skin worst. Also use a cleansing soap that moisturize, yes you do want to cleanse oily skin but not to the point that it will dry out your skin and pores. Drying out your skin and pores will make your acne breakout much worst than before, so please choose a oil free moisturizer and apply them to your face after you cleanse it.

* Resist the temptation of squeezing or popping the pimple - I know how it feels to have a big red pimple on your face during picture day, but squeezing or popping that pimple is definitely not the way to go because not only will it worsen the acne but it can leave a permanent scar for life.

* Eat healthy and drink a lot of water- Believe it or not, eating good food (things that are non-greasy) and drinking lots of water will help you stay acne free. So try to stay away from fast food, processed food and food that have tons of oil. Eat more vegetables and fruits.

* Rest- It is as simple as that, because skin is nourished while you sleep, therefore you need good rest to maintain healthy and good looking skin.

* Exercise- Daily physical exercises are necessary for healthy skin because it improves blood circulation and brings more oxygen to the skin.

* Relax and stay stress free- Stress is definitely one thing that can influence your acne condition, so stay happy and cheerful, do not worry too much about
